My Experience At #CES In Vegas

Blog, Events, Whats New | anthonytilghman | January 11, 2010 at 10:10 pm

It was my first time attending #CES  Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), and I was really excited about my trip and wanted to share my experience with everyone, which is why I am sharing this blog post.  I really appreciate the Love and the Networking I’ve have made at this years #CES and very much looking forward to coming back the next year and having another great time.

So it is Thursday Jan 7th and i am leaving the Washington D.C.  airport on a last min Trip to Las Vegas  attending #CES, I was really excited because i have heard so much about the event and never had experienced it myself so i was excited to check it out for the first time. I arrived in Vegas Early that morning around 6am that morning and went to grab some breakfast before I headed to the convention center to registrar

must say my first reaction was WOW! because There was alot of folks outside and everyone seems to excited about going in just like me.

I must admit that as i made it past everything my first trip was to play video games and experience some of the new games coming out and the  game that caught my eye was Gran Turismo 5 and i must say I spent about 1 or so playing that game because the new features and graphics of this game was so stunning that i could not even get away to do anything else at that moment.

As I was walking through the convention center I was just so shocked to see all of the different companies introducing and sharing new technology. It was really interesting to see how everyone was just so happy to see all of the new gadgets and new upcoming attractions that was coming out on the market also there was a few celebs in the house Like

Like Anne Marie Johnson Who BTW was just so nice and seems so cool when i said hi and asked her to take her picture. You  may have seen her in a few shows and movies and i think she is most known for her roles in In Living Color and in The Heat of the Night which was a few of my fav shows back in the day.

A Few of the Gadgets That caught my eye was Dell Mini 5  Internet tablets which was featured at #CES and i think was 1 of the best upcoming devices there. Here are a few key features of the Dell mini is that it has a 5 Inch screens and has the Android operating system like many of today’s  competitors and also features a 5mp digital camera and it has a keypad as well as touchscreen, and it is nice and light compares to the way it looks on here  so from what i can see it is definitely a winner.

Another great gadget was the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid which i think was the hottest gadget at the show which has a double keypad and also features a 11 inch screen It also 3G with 16GB memory which is a plus for a small gadget like this. 2 read more of the specs you can visit the website at Engadget

After all that expose to gadgets I had to pretty go to a place where I felt more comfortable at and of course those who know me would already know where that is… NIKON!! Yes Nikon was in the house and i must say i spent alot of my time there chatting and learning more about the new and exciting things coming to Nikon which is a great experience for me in itself since I am faithful to Nikon cameras as i have been for many years. I must also admit that the guys at Nikon are always so experiences and provide great assistance in answering questions or guys like me who surly have alot of them because you never can learn everything about products and its always ways to learn more about which products you are using and get advice on how to excel at everything you do and for me that is something I have always felt strongly about.

With all that being said I had a wonderful time and i is m pleasure to share this experience with you, Thanks so much for those who read this because it is wonderful to be about to share great experiences like these and it is a blessing to be able to travel and live life to the fullest. Thanks everyone and stay tuned for more great adventures from me.

I be crazy about the worthy information you recommend in your post. I will bookmark your blog and have my kid check up here frequency. I am rather sure they will read a lots of new stuff here than anybody else!

  4. That rss feature on your site here is awesome, you should tell people about it in your upcoming post. I haven’t noticed it a first, now I’m using it each morning to check on any updates. I’m on a real slow dial-up link in Alabama and it’s quite hindering to sit there and wait for such a long time ’til the page loads… but hey, I just found your rss page and added it to the Google Reader and voil? – I’m always up-to-date! Well pal, keep up the good work and make that rss button a little bigger so that other people can enjoy that as well :-P
